Poker Reviews

Poker is one of the most popular card game around the world. In which players with fully or partially concealed cards make wagers into a central pot. The pot is awarded to the player or players with the best combination of cards or to the player who makes an uncalled bet. Poker can also refer to video poker, a single-player game seen in casinos much like a slot machine.

There are almost infinite variations played in homes across the world, but we like to focus on the `big five` - Texas Hold`em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo. These are the most popular games played in casinos, card rooms and cyberspace.

Poker uses a standard pack of playing cards, 52 cards (there are some poker games that uses more or less depending on the variations such as adding wild cards like jokers). The card ranking is as follows Ace (the highest), King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 (the lowest), Ace (this may also be the lowest card depending on the variations you are using, but it is usually the highest). There are four suits (spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs). No suit is higher than another. All poker hands contain five cards, the highest hand wins.

History Of Poker
The history of poker is a matter of debate. It closely resembles the Persian game of as nas, and may have been taught to settlers in New Orleans by Persian sailors. The name of the game likely descended from the Irish Poca (Pron. Pokah) ('Pocket') or even the French poque , which descended from the German pochen ('to brag as a bluff' lit. 'to knock' ).

How To Play Pocker
In casual play, the right to deal a hand typically rotates among the players and is marked by a token called a 'dealer' button (or "buck"). In a casino, a house dealer handles the cards for each hand, but the button (typically a white plastic disk) is rotated clockwise among the players to indicate a nominal dealer to determine the order of betting.

Types Of Poker Games
Texas Hold'em is without a doubt the most popular form of poker played in the United States, today. The World Series of Poker, the World Poker Tour, and countless poker tournaments across the country every day use Texas Hold'em to decide their ultimate champion. Doyle Brunson, aka “Texas Dolly,” calls it the "Cadillac of poker," and for good reason, given that so many professional poker players use Texas Hold'em as their primary mode of income.

Poker Game Rules
Texas Hold 'Em is a seven card poker game with simple rules that a beginner can easily learn and begin to play immediately. In spite of the simplicity, it is a fast and complex game that takes skill and practice to master. No wonder it has become one of the most popular forms of poker played today.

Equipments That You Need For Poker
Table and chairs'Real' poker tables are rectangular with rounded corners but obviously any shape will do.

Poker Strategy
We have said that you have to try to work out what everyone might hold, and then act accordingly. But how would you act if you did know what everyone's cards were? That's the first question we need to address.

Poker -Ten Mistakes
Without trying to sound unduly negative, when it comes down to it, poker is all about mistakes. If you induce mistakes from others, and avoid making mistakes of your own, you will win. In the long run, you don't make money because you win or lose pots, you win money by making fewer mistakes than your opponents.

Video Poker
In poker you always play other, real, live people, but video poker is totally different. Here you do not play other people. Instead you'll be pitting you wits against a computer or a machine.

Poker Tournaments
After paying the buy-in and entry fee, all entrants are supplied with exactly the same number of chips and then assigned randomly to tables, typically with ten people on each table (although sometimes fewer than this). You can buy a seat in advance, but a tournament will always begin promptly at a predetermined time.

Poker Cheats
Methods of cheating are mostly self-evident, One thing winning poker players need to do is be ever vigilant in spotting and helping to stamp out cheaters. Fortunately this is one place where the interests of honest winning players directly coincide with those of the casino.

Crazy Vegas Casino Review

Crazy Vegas Casino takes great pride in their online slot machines, which will always deliver a payout percentage greater than 94%. The video pokers (Jacks or Better) pay back up to 99.54%, while their online keno has some of the best returns to be found anywhere - a 92% payout rate on two or more correctly picked numbers.

Crazy Vegas Casino is one of favorite Microgaming casinos because of the ongoing bonuses they offer. This casino offer a 15% bonus on every single deposit. New players will get $11 Free - no deposit required and a 100% match deposit bonus up to $100 free.

Bonuses & Promotions

Keeping with the "crazy" theme at Crazy Vegas Casino, the website promises to offer players INSANE promotions. Overall, Crazy Vegas Casino cannot refute this claim, for Crazy Vegas does offer a wide selection of generous promotions compared to most other online casinos. Thanks to the combined resources of the Vegas Partner Lounge, players are entitled to a comprehensive Loyalty Program and frequent promotional giveaways. Players who use NETeller will be eligible for further prizes, including new cars, Las Vegas trips and media devices. The more money a player transfers with their NETeller account, the more entries into the competition they will be entitled to. This is also the same manner in which the Loyalty Program operates at Crazy Vegas Casino. Newly registered, real-money players are automatically awarded 250 free loyalty points ($2,500 worth), which can later be cashed out for free casino chips (Craps and roulette do not count toward Loyalty Points). The more one wagers, the better the conversion ratio between points and chips. For instance, 500 loyalty points entitles a player to one free chip, while 2,000 loyalty points converts to 4.8 casino chips. All players can redeem and verify their loyalty point balance at any time.

Loyalty

The Crazy Vegas Casino Loyalty Program is for the most part similar to the other Microgaming Loyalty programs out there where the more you play, the more points you earn and the more free tokens you receive in return. The nice thing about Crazy Vegas Casino is that you start with 250 loyalty points when opening a real account (you are automatically registered). Once again, terms and conditions apply and games are weighted, meaning that some count more than others, for example, blackjack does not count at all and slots count triple (300%).

Games

Crazy Vegas casino use Software from Microgaming. They offer some of the latest and most exciting games like: Blackjack, Cash Splash, Jack or Better Power Poker, Blackjack Multihand, Double Magic, Winning Wizards, Roulette, Chiefs Fortune, Jacks or Better, Fantastic Sevens, Cyber Stud Poker, Craps, Sic Bo, Lucky Charmer, Aces and Faces, Baccarat, Lions Share, Jackpot Express, Lots of Loot, Reels Royce, Cool Buck, Flower Power Keno, Scratch Card, Deuces Wild, Golden Dragon, Wow Pot, Supa Jax, Fruit Fiesta, Poker Pursuit, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild Power Poker , Aces & Faces Power Poker, Deuces & Joker Power Poker, Double Joker Power Poker, Joker Poker Power Poker, Tens or Better Power Poker Fortune Cookie, Totem Treasure, Jurassic Jackpot, Crazy Chameleons Cracker Jack, Jet Set, Goblins Gold, 5 Reel Drive, Crazy Croc, High 5, Reel Thunder, Diamond Deals, Sizzling Scorpions, Wheel of Wealth, Triple 7's Progressive Blackjack, Progressive Cyberstud, Roulette Royale, Jackpot Deuces, Treasure Nile and Major Millions.

Pai Gow Poker really gives online casino players a nice variety. You have the combination of the exciting Pai Gow Game with the game of poker.

The online casino Pai Gow Poker game is played with a regular deck of 52 cards plus one joker which can be used only as an ace, or to fill out a straight, flush or a straight flush. The highest five-card hand would be five aces.

How to Play Online Pai Gow Poker

Place your bet: Begin the Pai Gow Poker game by placing your wager. Choose from five chip denominations: $1, $5, $10, $25 and $100. In Pai Gow Poker you are betting on your High and Low hands winning over the dealer's hands.

Cards dealt: In Pai Gow Poker you will be dealt seven cards face-up. The dealer will receive seven cards face-down. The dealer's cards will not be revealed until you have finished your action.

Player action: Split your cards into two separate hands: High hand and Low hand. Your High hand must consist of five cards and contain your best ranking poker hand. Your Low hand must consist of two cards and be lower in rank than your High hand. The online Pai Gow Poker game will not allow you to create a Dead Hand (a Low hand of higher value than a High hand).

Dealer action: The dealer's hand will be arranged in a High and Low hand as well. The dealer's hand will be divided according to Fair Way Rules. Please see the Pai Gow Poker Rules section for details. At this time, the dealer's hands will be revealed.

Payoff: Your High hand and the dealer's High hand will be compared against each other, as will both Low hands. In Online Casino Pai Gow Poker a winning wager pays 1:1 less a 5% commission. For example: A winning bet of $10 will pay $9.50. No commission is applied to losing or tied hands.
